Butch Thompson and Lane Burroughs share recruiting stories and memories of their time at Mississippi State.

Before Butch Thompson became head coach at Auburn and Lane Burroughs became head coach at Louisiana Tech, they were assistant coaches in their home state. Thompson, from Amory, and Burroughs, from Meridian, hit the road recruiting and began putting together signing classes that led Mississippi State into a run as one of the nation's elite programs of the past decade.
